In 2018, shortly after graduating, I had the opportunity to join YoBoHo New Media (Rhei), where I worked on a diverse range of visual content tailored to various audience segments. My role focused on engaging global audiences, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of content strategies across different demographics. Among the many projects I contributed to, one of my favorites—shared below—was developed from inception.

In 2018, I embarked on a mission to create a number of YouTube channels that combined fun and education for preschoolers in the Portuguese-speaking community globally. Over three years, Aqui Bebes Cantam evolved into a beloved destination for children and parents alike, thanks to innovative content and data-driven growth strategies.

🎬 Content Strategy: Led the end-to-end production process, from ideation and character development to metadata optimization, thumbnail design, and upload strategies.

Challenges & Solutions

 

Challenge: Entering a niche market with limited content for preschoolers.

  • Solution:  Conducted extensive market and competitor research to identify audience preferences, content gaps, and growth opportunities. Developed a tailored content strategy to address these gaps and provide engaging, high-quality content for young viewers.


Challenge: Navigating YouTube algorithm changes.

  • Solution:  Conducted in-depth research on platform updates and dashboard insights to understand algorithm shifts. Analyzed data trends and proactively adjusted content strategies to maintain growth and engagement.

Challenge: Overcoming the language barrier in a newly targeted market..

  • Solution: Since Portuguese, like other localized channels, was new to me, I took it as a personal challenge. I proactively learned the basics of the language and explored cultural nuances to create more authentic and engaging content.
